- Commercial Driver’s License A Certificate Program 214 Clock Hours (Monday-Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 8am to 12pm Approximately 6 Weeks This program prepares students to obtain a commercial driver’s license upon successful completion of the Entry Level Driver Testing Video’s, the Good Careers Academy courses and passing the Texas Commercial Driver License written and driving exam. Students will have a classroom introduction including written inspection. They will then proceed to prepare for the road and hands-on pre-trip inspection. The program will instill safety practices to employ while the students practice driving on city streets, highways, and surface roads. *Students are provided one ten-minute break per hour.
