- <p>Certified Nurse Aide training program. This program provides a comprehensive exploration of the essential components required by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. The curriculum covers topics such as resident's rights, effective communication, safety observation, reporting, and fundamental patient care. Special emphasis is placed on effective interaction with healthcare teams. To complete the program and qualify for the certification examination, students must concurrently enroll in both NURA 1001 (96 classroom hours) and NURA 1060 (48 clinical hours). Clinical hours are scheduled at various times, including day, evening, and weekend sessions.</p>
